My sister and her husband have seperated over the weekend. He has moved out. Married 10 years but together 20.Two kids together age 10 and 16.
Our own parents seperated when we were 10 and 12. It was horrible and acrimonious. I'm the older sibling so a lot of the responsibility was in me to take care of my younger siblings while my mother worked.
Myself and DH visited my sister yesterday and my heart is broken for all of them.
Is there anything specific I can do to help them. Would love to get some advice from anybody who has gone through a seperation. I've told my sister I'm here to support her and the kids.
