What is/isn't a jury allowed to talk about afterwards

20yo DS1 is on jury service. I've never been called. I'm sure it's not as interesting as I think, but I'm dying to hear about it. I know he's not allowed to discuss it during the case, but can he tell me after they've reached their verdict?

And does telling your mum count? Grin

With the exception of what’s said in the deliberation room, when he’s finished he can talk about whatever he likes. Depending on the case it’s likely to be in local papers anyway

That’s what we were all told, some years ago though

I was on jury service recently, and found that I didn’t actually want to discuss it with my family in the evenings because my head was mince after 7 hours of listening to it all in court.

IIRC afterwards you can discuss the details (it will probably be in the local press) but not the balance of juror votes if it is a majority decision.
