Prom dress help for teen with larger figure

Any ideas for a prom dress style for a teen with a larger bust and stockier build?

I would go for something A line that fits well at the waist to bring her in at her smallest point. Possibly with detail at the waist too to draw attention there. I would go for midi or maxi length depending how tall she is. If she is on the shorter side definitely midi as maxi will drown her or make her look shorter. Try different necklines which suit her bust. I would guess maybe v neck or sweetheart might suit her best with a larger bust. Depending on skin tone I would go for darker colours which are more grown up and give a nicer silhouette such as navy, emerald green, dark red or even black.
