Help! Emails not sending from iPhone and crucially need this at the moment

I'm flat hunting and emailing lots of agents etc

I'm having a weird message come up sometimes when I'm trying to reply usually when it's a chain of messages. It's saying something about the server being inaccessible?

I do have WAY too many emails unread loads of junk but I am deleting as many as I can as often as I can and this doesn't really seem to be helping

Anyone had this and solved this or any techy types able to help?

How much storage do you have available on your phone? I find the storage is full or almost full Nothing works properly and I get lots of weird error messages, but if I delete some apps or whatever then it starts working again

Didn't think of that I'll have a look!

I'm also bad for keeping way too many photos! Mainly screenshots of like voucher codes and similar really need to do a good clear out

It says

Can't see photos

iOS system files 8 gb

Btw I have NO idea what any of this bloody means!

Apparently it may be gmail that is the issue ugh how annoying! Guessing as they're rivals with apple?

So I downloaded gmail app and it STILL doesn't seem to be working!

I'm sending but not in sent folder showing as "draft" this is maddening!

Thinking I'm gonna have to copy and send via a different email account the only other one I have is my ridiculously worded old uni yahoo one! Gah!

The message I'm getting is

"The connection to the outgoing server failed" that's via the usual iPhone app. No error message on gmail app just not sending!

Can you log out of the mail on your iPhone in your settings. Then re log in.

I’ve had this on my iPhone loads of times!

Tried that made no difference

The only way I can get it to work is I've logged in on safari which is a pain of a way to use it!!

Absolutely nothing is working and worse even on my (non apple) computer it's not working I mean what on earth?!

From looking online it seems loads of users have had problems this is SO annoying so I think I will have to set up a new email address

Anyone have any recommendations? Preferably one that works well with iPhone as that's how I mostly access

I use mail.com I have always used this one. They have an app you can download onto your iPhone too.

Maybe try deleting the app on your phone and computer, it won't affect the messages, then reinstalling and putting in your password again may help.

If you use an iPhone DP you not have an iCloud address in there? That would be easiest. It could be server settings in your mailbox. Check outgoing server settings.

I don't use the app that's preinstalled on the iPhone as it did this for me too. I use apps specific to my email accounts. So outlook and gmail. Could you try to email from those apps instead?
