One day jobs /roles

Hi there

I would like to earn a little bit extra each month and was wondering what 'one day' jobs are out there? For example, I work as a Poll Clerk at elections. I can take a day's leave off work to do this. I would love to try to get a 'one day' job every couple of months. I work full time so don't want the commitment of a second job at the minute but a 'one day' job every now and then would help with any unexpected expenses etc. Not Avon type jobs as too much time involved.

Invigilating exams in secondary schools. Beyond boring but you can pick and choose your days.

Good luck 😊 Another thought, do you speak any other languages? My neighbour does quite well paid ad hoc work as an interpreter at the local GP surgery.

Dd1 has been earning pretty well doing waitressing at big events. They bus people in from all over the place for Cheltenham races, for example. She has a great time.
