and I look awful. I’m going with a group of lovely friends who are all slim and groomed while I am not Blush
What can I do to lose weight, sort out my hair and feet so I can relax and enjoy it and not feel self conscious and inferior.

Oh OP I'm sorry to hear you don't feel great - but I hope you have a fabulous time!

Do you dye your hair? If so and you do it yourself, what about box dying it the week before to cover any roots? And what about buying a really nice colour nail polish for your toes?

I'm at a spa soon and I'll be wearing my maternity swimming costume (and my most recent baby is nearly 18 months!) it's an off the shoulder one with a big frill across the shoulders and chest so detracts from my stomach. Think it was from Very.

Please don't be worrying about going - you will have a great time when you're there Thanks

Sorry no help to you but I cancelled mines which was supposed to be in April because of this. 😭😭

Look into intermittent fasting for a fuss-free and simple way to lose weight (and it costs absolutely nothing!) but to be honest you shouldn’t have to do this, you will see all shapes and sizes at a spa weekend and you could just get a flattering high waisted tankini or swimming costume.

With your feet, give yourself a DIY pedicure (see YouTube!) and get yourself a new polish.

With your hair, depends on its current style but a good trim and/or colour will be fine!

Please go along and have fun, no one else will be caring or noticing what you look like.

The beauty of a Spa weekend is that you're mostly in a towelling robe unless you're under water.
Everyone's hair is a mess from swimming or oily massages.
Book a pedicure, shave your legs and have fun.

Goodness. I love a spa weekend. But feeling like you have to lose weight to enjoy it and be groomed whilst there is like the antithesis of a spa weekend for me! I am not worrying what I look like or what others are thinking about me. I hardly even notice anyone else there and certainly am completely uninterested in their bodies. It’s about total relaxation and indulgence of self for me. Screw changing myself to fit in to feel like I deserve to be there! If your friends would make you feel uncomfortable because of your body or how you look then they are not your friends. If you are making yourself uncomfortable because of your body or how you look, then you are not your own friend, and I’d gently suggest working on that as a priority over any kind of fad crash diet.

By all means, eat healthily, plan to lose weight if it would be medically advised, go on a princessing binge if you enjoy that kind of thing……but not in order to feel like you fit in at a spa weekend!

@CandyMan89 so sorry you felt you had to cancel yours. I hope some of the advice here is helpful to you too.
Towelling robe sounds wonderful. I didn’t think of that.
I’m going to use this as a goal to sort myself out so
Yes to intermittent fasting
Yes to dying hair
Yes to researching home pedicure
Yes to shaving legs

@LemonViolet my friends are lovely but they seem to all be effortlessly lovely looking as well. I definitely feel self conscious around them because I would like to be slimmer and look better, not because of anything they say to me.
