Any stationery aficionados recommend something nice for a young woman?

DSs Girlfriend's birthday coming up, I hear that she likes notebooks etc and would like to buy her something nice but this stuff has never been something I'm into. I'm generally happy with whatever the supermarket has in A5 with lined paper!

Anyone recommend something that a 20 year old (quite quirky dress sense and into manga etc) would like? Not cheap but not too expensive either if that makes sense? I'm treating her to a voucher for something I know she'll love but would like something physical to get her also.

Have a look at www.papier.com/ - lovely hardback notebooks that can be personalised

Paperchase do some really pretty ones with initials on

If you want expensive, Papier do lovely ones,. but I do think they're very overpriced for what they are

Or Waterstones have a lovely range, at a variety of price points

Martha Brook also do lovely stationery

I would highly recommend Rachel Ellen Designs - a small business selling gorgeous planners, notebooks and cards, I'm a regular customer after someone on here pointed me to her.

Paperblanks notebooks are beautiful.

Thank you everyone, I'm just away to have a look at all your suggestions, I'm sure I'll find something suitable.

Not on the high street have a vegan leather notebook which comes with a pressed flower from the birth month to tie round. Not cheap though so depends on your budget.

Sorry for the long link! That’s an anime theme lovely moleskine book.

MissMinutes24 · 23/01/2022 18:20

Would also highly recommend Papier or Moleskine

Some lovely suggestions. I really like the Not on the High street ones (not seen the flower ones but lovely ones you can get initials added to) and I also found a lovely moleskine one that is travel themed and I know she'd like to go travelling after she finishes her studies next year - though since DS wants to stay on and do a masters, I'm not sure what that means for them but that's a thought for another day....

Still looking at all your options and deciding though :)

I'm not exactly sure which particular anime/manga stuff she likes so wary of getting something too specific and finding it's wrong. A bit like getting something with star trek on it when you like star wars. Grin
