Best Wiggles song?
50

cafedesreves · 22/01/2022 16:57

My 16mo is obsessed with the Wiggles so I'm getting quite expert in terms of their repertoire.
What are your favourite Wiggles songs. Not your DC (mine likes Toot Toot Chugga Chugga - no taste...) but which ones do you secretly enjoy?

For me its "rattlin' bog", "have a good day" and "you make me feel like dancing".

Ah too many to mention.... Captain Feathersword, Dinosaur Birthday Party, D.O.R.O.T.H.Y, and I always had a soft spot for Watching the Ponies Galloping Home.

Oooh, this takes me back!

The one I have in my head is ‘Crocodile Hunter, Big Steve Irwin’, but Capt Feathersword is now giving me flashbacks.

Taba naba! That’s a blast from the past. I used to sing that to dd a long long time ago to get her to sleep. I remember the woman they sang it with and her introduction- ‘let’s go down to the creek and have a great time.’ DD’s 17 now and covered in piercings. I don’t think I could bring myself to watch the newer iteration of the Wiggles, even though I have a toddler dd who’d probably love it. The stuff we watched was all on VHS bought from charity shops so already years old by the time we watched it.
