I can't help with the blanket, but some places to try:

  • r/helpmefind (on reddit)
  • my blue cup
  • try Asda customer service if you didn't already. They might have some old stock.

Do you have a photo of it?

MichelleScarn · 21/01/2022 21:28

I know this says blue/white but is it this?

I don't have one, but if in a few days you haven't found one, this sort of pattern is very simple to knit. Would you say it was lightweight or quite heavy?

If the weight and colour was matched do you think it would be accepted by the child?

Snowiscold · 22/01/2022 11:55

Would it be noticed if you cut it in half? Then you’d have two.

its more the material than the pattern, we have tried feeling other blankets but its not quite the same and they know

What material does the label say it is made from? There's a match for almost everything textile wise, then it's just about making in the right texture

DoucheCanoe · 22/01/2022 12:56

You might find that they wouldn't accept another one anyway, my DS had a crochet Granny square blanket from birth and he was very attached to it. Got a spare but he wouldn't take to it so 15 years on we still have the OG "skanky blanky" 🤣
