Can anyone recommend a car seat for someone who doesn't have a car?

Hi,

My DD (14 months) is nearly at the weight limit for her first car seat so we're looking to get a new one. We don't have a car so it won't be used often - it'll get used for approx fortnightly short trips out in my friend's car, and 2h car journeys approximately 4x a year to visit family. It therefore needs to be easy to put in and take out of cars, and preferably not cost too much as it won't get much use! I don't know anything about cars or car seats so no idea what else I'm supposed to be looking out for!

Thanks in advance!

I’d go for a joie every stage (or might be an all stage). It’s fitted with a seatbelt, not isofix, rear faces then swaps to forward facing. Should last until they don’t need one any more

Thank you, that's amazing!!

Joie every stage is what I'd suggest as you cannot guarantee that cars will always have isofix.
It also will last until 12yrs if a small child.
