Where do I want to go on holiday?

All out of ideas. Live in the Midlands.

Requirements:

Me, DH, dd16, dd14.

Dd16 wants to paddle in the sea.

Dd14 wants to bodyboard.

Fish and chip shop locally.

Local countryside walks a must (for DH, the girls don't want to walk anywhere).

Something exciting for teens (not into shopping etc)

Small town preferable, but happy to consider other things.

Don't care for grandure, prefer muddy boots by a fire kind of place.
Would love.to.visit York, if commutable for the day.

Any ideas?

North Devon would work. Though not sure anywhere that ticks the boxes on body boarding, country walks will also excel at 'something exciting for teens'. You've said not shopping but could you give an example?
