Someone tried to hack my Amazon account yesterday evening....

I would have needed to have perfected the art of bilocation as one was in West London and the other in Kent, within moments of each other.

Unluckily for them Amazon alerted me, and from their attempt to password change was five minutes.

Impressed with Amazon's speedy response.

No not at all, the only people who use it are DH and DS and as the payment comes from my solo current account they always tell/ask me before.

My account was hacked some years ago, my email address changed and a small download showed on my bank statement.

Customer Services were incredibly useless.

We don't have that email address on record.
No because I've been hacked and the email address changed and the hacker didn't tell me the new email address!
Can you tell me your email address?
No! Can you put me onto your line manager or relevant department?
Can you tell me your email address?
Arrgghh!

I eventually managed to internet search a different department that resolved it, but the call centre was appalling.

Do you have 2 step authentication? If not, put it in place. Everything you log in you will be texted a one time pass code. I have it on all my online accounts
