Toddler friendly restaurants central London

Going to London with our 3 almost 4 year old next Saturday looking for a nice lunch spot central London which is also child friendly, adults would like something nice lunch maybe steak or similar?! Walking distance either Covent garden or Euston stn?

There are lots of chain restaurants near Covent Garden that are child friendly if you don’t mind that. Maybe Bills? I know they do steak

Covent Garden has loads of steak type places.

For something less touristy, Demartino on Great Portland Street (15 min walk Euston) is a Sardinian (I think) restaurant that does nice food in a nice atmosphere. It’s very much not just a pasta place and does nice meat/fish dishes. They are always busy with people there for work lunches during the week but I’d take my 4 year old there happily at the weekend as the staff are friendly.

It’s not a specifically child friendly restaurant though, if that makes sense. I haven’t been for a few years but a quick look at reviews suggest it’s still very much like it used to be.

The Wolseley is very child-friendly, really fab and buzzy and a short walk from Covent Garden. I used to take dc there a lot when they were small. They would be given crayons and pictures to colour, and all the pictures were of glamorous people drinking cocktails and getting out of Bentleys I’ve also been more recently with a baby and they couldn’t have been more accommodating.

Flat Iron in Covent Garden is great for steak and very reasonable. I’ve taken children there before.
