Haven't been for so long, quick recommendations welcome. Flat iron?

Coppa Club

Tavolino, 5 minutes walk away just past HMS Belfaat and overlooking Tower Bridge.

TheWayTheLightFalls · 20/01/2022 05:44

How high-end would you like? If you're feeling flush La (Le?) Pont de la Tour just along the cobbles past Tower Bridge is fab, or Butler's Wharf Chop House alongside. Otherwise in the More London complex there's Tavolino, The Ivy, Rosa's Thai, Five Guys, Vapiano... all sorts.

Pizarro (Spanish) in Bermondsey Street - although away from the river but lovely street to wander down before you get to the restaurant.

Quite fancied steak. Reviews for coppa club are horrendous! Working through the others

Cuppa club is average imo. Good for say a group social where you are having a drink/laugh type thing but not really for a nice meal out

JamieFraserskneewarmer · 20/01/2022 09:47

Bala Baya - great fun

youngestisapsycho · 20/01/2022 09:48

I love Flat Iron…. And free ice cream!

titchy · 20/01/2022 09:50

Hawksmoor for steak?

TheWayTheLightFalls · 20/01/2022 10:16

I think there’s a Gaucho at More London too.

crj123 · 20/01/2022 10:18

Another vote for the Chop House here. Food is great and lovely location

RedCorvette · 20/01/2022 10:22

Some of the best tapas I've ever had at Lobos.

UpEarly · 20/01/2022 10:25

Brindisa at the entrance to Borough Market. yummy.

MarisPiper92 · 20/01/2022 10:30

Not steak, but Brindisa, José, Pizarro, Casse-Croute, and Boro Bistro are all worth a visit.

ShadowPuppets · 20/01/2022 10:41

Yes to Lobos and / or Brindisa. The Garrison for pub food. Village East was fab, but I think it's permanently closed now.

Edieunion · 20/01/2022 11:00

Pont de la tour was lovely when I went about 10 years ago! Grin

SaintVal · 20/01/2022 12:24

Roast at Borough - right by London Bridge 😊

Hanooooooo · 20/01/2022 12:49

Padella is amazing for pasta.
