Half term ski holiday to France

Not sure where I should post this but thought I’d start here. We’re booked to go skiing in France over half term but my DS (15) has only had one vaccine. Vaccines got delayed because he got covid and then had to wait 12 weeks before he could have his first and now we don’t have time to get his second. Apparently proof of 1st vaccine and recovery cert does comply with the rules in France - I can get the recovery certificate (I think) but can’t get proof of first vaccine. 119 can’t help and didn’t really have any advice as to what I should do. Does anybody have any experience of this or ideas about what I could do? I really don’t want to have to rely on daily testing….the chaos and stress of it all would just be too much! But think that might be our only way to get the pass sanitaire/new health pass. If we can’t get it sorted I think we’ll probably cancel but want to do all I can before I give up and think of somewhere else to go instead. Somewhere sunny maybe?! Thanks in advance for any advice/suggestions

Call your GP and they can print off a letter with all the vaccine details plus stamped by them, that’s what I have done for my ds.

Have you set up an NHS online account in his own name? When I needed a covid pass for my son to go to the theatre, I set it up for him and the details of all his vaccines were on his account?

@TwoBigNoisyBoys you have to be 16 to download and use the app unfortunately.

Ah sorry, I didn’t realise that…that makes sense though, my DS is 19.

Thank you everyone. The other thread that notimagain directed me to is v useful…I’m obviously not the only one with this exact issue!
