Why can't I sharpen my eyeliner pencil?! Pic)

Just that. Every time I try it just snaps off and it's not a cheap one! Do I need a special sharpener or something??

Put it in the fridge for half an hour and then try sharpening it.

Have you got something stuck in the end of the sharpener?

You need a special cosmetic sharpener, ordinary ones tend to break the core. I have an old Bourjois one that works perfectly, but this Barry M one should do the job for a couple of quid.

No, nothing stuck in the end, I guess I need a specific sharpener.
