Can you show me how you’ve decorated your 3 panel bay window?

I have had blinds for years and don’t have curtains. I really want curtains to finish off the look but don’t under stand where I’d put the railing, and where would I get bendy rails from that aren’t those ugly plastic ones? Would they be attached to the ceiling if there’s no space around the window?

Can you show me your bay windows to give me ideas please!

Have you considered shutters?

Mine’s a five-sided bay but posting a photo so you can see the curtain rail, which is adjustable according to window dimensions. It’s from the Dunelm Ashton range and really sturdy, as well as being significantly cheaper than the eye-watering price most places wanted for a custom made one.

@comtess thanks so much for this, I have been looking for a pole that fits a bay that doesn't cost the earth! Also my windows are from the ceiling like yours, lots of the poles you need wall above the window to mount!

This is exactly what I’m looking for! Something that hangs from the ceiling, and not break my bank balance! I’m off to Dunelm on the weekend! The shape of your corners is similar to mine too.

We have a 3 panel bay with a ‘bendy’ metal curtain pole…I’m sure ours may have been from Dunelm.

We got a specialist company to come round and fit a metal pole that they bent on site to fit so we could have continuous curtains across the bay. Works very well.

I have normal track that bends round.
