People who doubt your judgement

There is a woman who is new at work. She will ask me about a process which I have extensive knowledge of the organisation and will give her an answer. I give my answer, she doubts it then says she will ask someone else. I find this rude. Why ask if you doubt someone’s judgement. No-one else does this to me and people are grateful for my help.

I think it rude too! Raise your eyebrows knowingly and her her crack on if she asks you again.

If she asks for help again send her to the person she asked after you.

She did keep mentioning her manager and but more so another woman called ‘Sarah’. I will just say Sarah may know.

I have the same from somebody I work with. She'll ask my advice/opinion on a work problem then say " no I'm not going to do that" or ask somebody else. Don't bloody ask me then!

I think they do it to bring others down to try and knock their confidence. Pathetic oneupmanship games. She can ask someone less competent next time.
