Musical Clues - need collective brains!

I'm taking DS to a night of musicals next week as a surprise for his birthday tomorrow but wanted to do a treasure hunt type thing to reveal it
Was thinking I could do a clue to lead him to my 'hairspray' and a clue to do with our 'cats' but then I'm stuck!
Anyone have any great ideas?!

If you have an atlas you could leave a book mark in the page for South Pacific. Or Oklahoma...

There must be some kind of clue for the Sound of Music...

Do you have a Chess set?

Put some pyjamas with a board game for The Pajama Game...

Or you could do a picture clue with some guys (the sort you have on bonfire night) and some dolls.

A pair of red high heeled shoes (Jamie)
a fake $10 bill (Hamilton)
a Mr Kipling type pie (Waitress)
a French flag (Les Mis)
a globe (Come From Away)
a yellow lego brick (Wizard of Oz/Wicked)
An alarm clock set to 9am (9 - 5)
a newspaper (Newsies)

Comefromaway · 18/01/2022 15:05

a cuddly lion toy (Lion King)
a red, green and yellow scrunchie (Heathers)

Comefromaway · 18/01/2022 15:06

Do you know any of the shows/songs that will be featured?

ghislaine · 18/01/2022 15:06

Lamp = Aladdin
Empty bowl = Oliver!
Picture of his mother = Mamma Mia
A wedding invitation = Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
Atlas = as above, could also be used for Chicago
Stuffed lion toy = The Lion King
French flag (could print out from the net) = Les Mis
Oil or similar = Grease
Razor = Sweeny Todd

Depending on how good his knowledge is, you could get quite obscure.

An ice cube (Frozen)
Suffragette ribbons (Mary Poppins)

Comefromaway · 18/01/2022 15:17
