If Cummings has proof let’s see it!!

Cummings says he emailed Boris to say garden party was a bad idea…. If he can produce the email then really that’s Boris done for - he will have been caught lying to parliament red handed (again) and the Tory party really can’t stand by him again. Why has Dom not produced it as proof yet?!

God I really hope so!!

AlexaShutUp · 18/01/2022 10:36

Did he say it was an email? The news story I read just said that he "raised his concerns" with the PM, so I assumed it was a conversation. I agree that he needs to produce the email if he has got one.

SmellyOldOwls · 18/01/2022 10:36

I think it was another member of staff who sent the email wasn't it? Presumably DC doesn't have access to those emails anymore now he doesn't work at No 10.

Because he's like a cat who gets more pleasure from slowly tearing the wings off a fly rather than killing it with one thwack.

Can you imagine all the 'woman scorned' column inches we'd be reading now if Cummings were a woman.

Blinkingbatshit · 18/01/2022 11:22

@SmellyOldOwls - if he has any sense….which I’m assuming he has some of (not much but some!) he’ll definitely have saved copies of his correspondence. The radio report I heard in the car earlier mentioned an email from Cummings…maybe it’s incorrect…I bloody hope there is one- they will HAVE to do something then won’t they?! (….and I don’t think Cummings would come out with it without proof - he’s savvy enough to know he’ll just look sour without…)

What difference would "proof" make. We've entered the era of politics as religion and nothing is going to dislodge the cult of Boris now.

I know Boris Johnson is a lying piece of slime - by the proof of his actions. If someone can't see that at this distance, then nothing is going to shift their opinion. He could be eating babies and throwing the bones out of the window and people would just focus on Keir Stamers mismatched shoelaces.

billyt · 18/01/2022 11:41

A known liar calling someone else a liar. A known rule-bender advising another. What a joke.

Maybe if Cummins admitted what a low-down piece of shit he has been I've give him a tiny bit of credit.

Don't get me wrong, I think Johnson needs to go but for the life of me it's scary who would we get. Another 'posh' pocket-filling twat?

Yummypumpkin · 18/01/2022 12:03

Well he shouldn't have access to the email. That would be a criminal act to download communications on leaving a role and retain them.

I think we've already worked out that this government isn't worried about criminal acts. Sauce for the goose, etc
