Hi everyone,

I started working from home a few months ago and recently I haave been getting lower back pain. I tend to work at the dining table or on the sofa and it's really affecting my back.

I recently purchased a desk to put in the living room and now I need an ergonomic chair to go with it. I want something that will support my back well but not look too officey or out of place in my living room.

I am on a budget. The absolute maximum I can afford is £200.

Thanks.

Can anyone recommend any office chairs that will fit my criteria?

Thanks in advance.

Otherwise try IKEA

I feel your pain. I actually had an assessment with an occupational health contractor for this before Christmas. It’s my neck, shoulders and upper back that hurt, because I am hunched over the kitchen table at a laptop. For almost two years now. I got his report last week and the chair he recommended (amongst other things) is almost £500! I can’t see my manager springing for that.

Possibly even the one linked above!

I have something like this (not exactly the same). Much more comfortable than it looks!

The office chair from Lidl is fab £60. My husband and I both suffer with our backs but this chair has been wonderful. You may get lucky in you have a Lidl nearby
