How do your weekends usually go? What’s your balance between planned activities and ‘free time’ where children are to amuse themselves? How much screen time (honestly)?
No judgement… just curious compared to my own?
My example…
Yesterday Saturday… drama school 10-1 for DD1 while myself and DD2&3 went to the park… quick visit to nanny then home for lunch and playing in the afternoon, didn’t go out again… approx 2 hours screen time and some time spent playing snap, colouring with the kids.
Today Sunday… out 12-2 for a scooter ride, morning spend half interacting with kids and half them amusing themselves. Now home and all on screens while I prep/cook a roast, they can help me if they like. Then it’ll be baths and bed etc.
To add, I’m the only adult in the house x
