Hcg levels

Hi ladies!

I’m new here and looking for some advice please.

My last period was 15th December and got positive OPK Thursday 30th, 31st and 1st Jan. I think I ovulated late night 31st early morning 1st.

I had had 5 MC and I’m classed as high risk. Had my bloods drawn on Monday 10th, which I believe to be 10 dpo and my results were 3. Doctor told me to go back in 4 days which was Friday 14th, results were 48. Had bloods again today, Sunday 16th and results were 137.2. Doctor seems happy but I’m concerned they are low compared to what I have read online. Going from ovulation date I’m 4 +1.

Any advice please ladies? Thanks x

I have an old post on here somewhere under an old username with a similar tale. I had IVF with bloods at 9dpt i.e., the day my period was due and the HCG level was 22. I balled my eyes out as that's horrendously low for that gestation and expected bad news but the 2nd test 3 days later was 50, then the next one 130 ish. The rule of thumb is that HCG should double every 2-3 days I think so yours is doing that, which is good.

Despite the wobbly beginnings I gave birth to a healthy full term baby from that pregnancy.

There was a thread on a baby board on another site with loads of similar happy stories but ultimately they have no bearing on yours. Good luck, I hope it goes well. I too had several miscarriages so know the heartache.

Thank you for the reassurance. I need to step away from Dr Google & stop POAS. Next bloods are Friday when I’ll be 4 weeks 6 days. Praying for good news x
