Slipinter under nail, how to get it out?

Tiny splinter to side of thumb under nail. Have soaked it but cant push it out.

Any ideas???

Are you nails as short as they can be (obviously without being too short and stinging!) - then put Epsom salts on the end of your thumb, wrap it in a bandage over night and let it do its magic.

Magnesium sulphate has worked its miracle on me so many times in my long life. It has cured a poisoned hand, a poisoned foot and drawn out splinters etc. So cheap and so wonderful.

Put some banana skin on it (inside against the splinter) and it will draw it out
