I'd put on lockdown weight and it decided to stay around 🙄
I'm just over the good mark on the BMI scale have have tipped into overweight to give you some background.

Since then all jeans and jeggings are uncomfortable, I've been trying them on for bloody ages. They are either too low and give me a muffin top or high and too tight and I can't breath. If I go up a size they are way too big all over.
Driving me frigging crazy.

I resorted to maternity jeans in desperation!

Now I have finally found a pair that fit perfectly!

Rosie jeggings from Matalan, they are the bloody bomb (if people are even using that phrase still?!).
I really recommend them.

See ya later maternity jeans!!

I quite often wish I'd kept my maternity jeans and often look at them on eBay Grin

Enjoy the comfort!

peridito · 15/01/2022 20:52

ooh and they do petite sizes as well !

TUGGY2006 · 15/01/2022 20:55

I was gonna tell everyone about my love of Rosie jeggings from Matalan if you hadn't mentioned it. They are amazing I love that are tight all over but comfy on the waist even with the never leaving muffin top!!

Wear them for work everyday! They are the best!!!

ArianaG · 15/01/2022 21:27

Thanks for the recommendation! Are they tight all the way down the leg? I always wear leggings or tights as I can't find jeggings/jeans that are tight enough at the bottom to comfortably tuck into my dr martens!

Journeynotdestination · 15/01/2022 21:47

Ooh! They look fab!

notawittyname1954 · 15/01/2022 21:57

thank you for this recommendation. I hate when they aren't long enough in the waist and ride down and cut your flabby bits in half so you end up with double flab

TooManyPJs · 15/01/2022 21:58

Don't get rid of the maternity jeans. I have recently converted to them (not pregnant). They are amazing! Sooo comfortable!

notawittyname1954 · 15/01/2022 21:58

I have fat thighs. Do they have a lot of give

TUGGY2006 · 15/01/2022 22:10

They are tight all the way down that's the best bit about them. Be careful when buying cause they come in 3 different lengths so make sure you get the right ones. I'm quite tall so love the fact the have the options. They don't cut in at all anywhere I could wear them comfortably all day just like Leggings.

Very much so! That's why I love them so much.

I'm converted.

The £12.50 ones? I can't believe how cheap these are and the reviews are brilliant!

How are they for true to sizing?
Unsure if our changing rooms are open.
Heading in today

ItsAllAboutTheLighting · 16/01/2022 08:30

Our local changing rooms were open (Brighton), and yes I would definitely say they were true to size.
