School of Rock:The musical - what swear words are in it?

I've bought tickets to see School of Rock: the musical for my family with an 8 year old in it, I saw a warning that there is some bad language in it and my DH is quite uptight about language.

Does anyone know what words are used and how many times (roughly)? I.e. is it peppered with bad language or is it the odd once or twice. Thanks!

I took DS to see it at about the same age and can’t remember noticing bad language. It was an absolutely amazing show and he loved every second. Have the best time!

I can't remember either. I doubt it will be worse than what he hears on the school playground.

It's a great show.

I've seen it and also don't remember any bad language so it must be quite mild/not very often. There were loads of kids there when I went. And there are loads of kids in the show as well so no particularly grown up material. You'll hear worse on the tube!

I think this is the script? I can find a "kick-ass"...... ;-)

I took ds to see Billy Elliot when he was a bit younger.
We had to do a potted history of the 80s for him and sister in the interval and he was strictly told that any word he hadn't known before he went in wasn't to be repeated. Grin

Thanks v much everyone! I think it will be deemed 'acceptable'!

I took DDs at 8 and 10 to see it. I can't remember any swear words in it.

Mind you DD2 did tell a boy he was a fuckwit in Year 1 so she knew a few words by then. ( I asked the teacher what the situation had been and we agreed that by the time she'd asked a boy to stop pulling her hair twice, resorting to 'emphatic language' was probably not only in context, but the correct course of action. Perhaps I was not the parent she needed to be talking to).

It's brilliant for that age and the very few rude words are totally contextual and fine. We loved it.
