I've been diagnosed with cervical erosion and I stopped bleeding but since last night he been having a light pink colour every time I wipe ? It's not a lot but I'm just wandering has anyone else had this ?

Yes I had this throughout my pregnancy. It was the reason I had a severe bleed at 6 weeks, then 16 weeks. It shouldn't cause an issue but you will likely bleed on and off for a few days, then it will stop. I was advised by the hospital that I would bleed after a bowel movement too (which did happen) due to pressure on the cervix.
I went on to carry full term so it wasn't really an issue, just panicked me when k saw blood. Best of luck in your pregnancy ☺️

Yeah I had a bad bleed on New Year's Eve but cervix was closed and I heard baby heart beat it did stop until last night but only when I wipe after a wee just panick when I see it thank you

Yes

It was very annoying as I am also Rh Negative and had to go and waste time in hospital getting scanned and getting an anti d injection 'just in case' each time it happened.

Hi I have this too. When me and my partner had sex when I was 27 weeks, when I went to the toilet after there was some light pink blood so we went straight to the hospital to be told after an examination it was cervical erosion. We were advised not to have sex or be gentle we haven’t had sex since but I’m 39 weeks tomorrow and just wanting to have sex. Does anyone know if this would effect me or whether to avoid it?

I haven't had sex since December but sadly they told me it'll make it worse and that I'm just gonna bleed on and off had a scan Saturday and baby was okay which put me at ease but still scares me

I have had cervical erosion since I was a teenager, so also throughout pregnancy. Like pp, also rhesus negative. Had anti-d after amnio and of course after DD was born Rh positive.
Try not to worry, I'm not a medical expert but lots of people have cervical erosion, it doesn't mean your cervix is weakened in any way during pregnancy (at least when u had to have (as usual) repeat smears during pregnancy because the blood from the erosion "spoiled" the sample.
I was never told anything about sex irritating it.

Did you bleed brown on and off through out??

@PAFMO interesting you and PP are rhesus negative. I previously responded to OP as I had this, and I'm rhesus negative too. Had to have the injection with each bleed.

I bled brown on and off throughout. Was banned from sex during pregnancy too.

Sophiep24 · 04/02/2022 09:29

Yeah it's not red at all just brown but even though I know my baby boy okay still scares me

I have just come across this thread. I am also rhesus negative and had a big bleed at 13 weeks..baby fine anti D given and another small bleed at 15 weeks (this week), same again but was diagnosed with cervical erosion. I have been told the bleeds arent from the baby but I will still need more anti D if i bleed again. Just looking for other mums who have had to have lots of anti D injections and babies have been fine! This is my first pregnancy and I'm full of anxiety! I know the hospital wouldn't administer anti D if it wasn't safe for my baby but I can't help but worry.
