Disney - Recently watched Mistresses, but now watching Brothers and Sisters

Amazon - Have only watched This is Us on there, but that's also on Disney now

Netflix - Favourite has to be Gilmore Girls, but have also recently enjoyed Virgin River and Superstore.

The Americans on Disney.

Before that, Hannibal on Amazon and Vampire Diaries on Netflix.

Heartofglass12345 · 15/01/2022 20:28

Definitely this is us, it's so well written and not like anything I've seen before.

Can't wait to watch the next series of Afterlife either Smile

I enjoyed stay close, there are loads of Harlan Coban ones on Netflix but some are in a different language, I enjoyed safe and the stranger as well.

Just finished the new series of Dexter which I enjoyed too!

riverpebbles · 15/01/2022 20:28

I thought Stay Close came over as a very bad soap. Couldn't even get through one episode.

The Americans was some of the best TV I've ever seen.

Heartofglass12345 · 15/01/2022 20:33

The Killing is on Disney as well if you haven't seen that I really enjoyed it, I felt series 2 dragged a little but the ending was good (series 1&2 are the same story) and I loved the other 2 series.

Also the Fall is on Netflix if you haven't seen that yet Smile these are older so you may already have seen them lol

RoyKentsChestHair · 15/01/2022 20:38

Two that I’ve seen mentioned over and over on these threads but never been tempted by. Recently decided to give them a go and they’re both fabulous!

Ted Lasso on Apple (it’s about a football team but don’t let that put you off. There’s very little actual football in it!). Also see my username for my favourite part of it Grin. Watched the whole 2 series twice during my free trial month!

And Money Heist on Netflix - was pit off as it’s in Spanish and I can’t be arsed with subtitles but you can watch it dubbed into English and it’s pretty well done. Very gripping and short episodes.

RoyKentsChestHair · 15/01/2022 20:40

And This Is Us of course although I assume everyone has seen it - if not, you must. It’s a thing of beauty, although I cry at almost every episode!

BarefootHippieChick · 15/01/2022 20:45

On Netflix - The Serpent and Drifters

On Amazon Prime - Fleabag and Cruel Summer

I love a good black comedy

lms2017 · 15/01/2022 20:48

Enchanto ! Kids movie but it's so good x !

DobbyTheHouseElk · 15/01/2022 20:50

Benidorm

I think I’ve lowered the tone

RoyKentsChestHair · 15/01/2022 20:50

Oh yes Fleabag is another one I decided I didn’t like after one episode. It seeing how much love it got on here I tried again and it’s brilliant.

Longcovid21 · 15/01/2022 20:50

Disney plus I got hopelessly sucked into bless this mess.
