Old house woes - come share (lighthearted)

1890's, Victorian, small but so many windows, single glazed and 10-12 small panes in each.

I have just spent 1 1/2 hrs cleaning and have only managed a good clean of the kitchen worksurfaces and doors and a lacklustre wipe of the downstairs windows (they were cleaned outside yesterday). Oh and another half-hearted wipe of the horrible black dust/mold that surrounds EVERY SINGLE PANE frame as well as the window frame.

I did a 'big' 2 day clean before Xmas and only 'surface cleaned' since then and it looks awful.

Everything is such hard work and i'm lazy. Can't afford a cleaner. 2 people in house WFH and although empty bins and wipe down and tidy a bit, they just don't see the dirt....

I work long hours 4 days per week and on my day off I am washing, errand running etc.

I could spend all day Saturday and Sunday cleaning - and not obsessively - it just is such hard work and doesn't look great when I'm done.

Anyone else?
