Best insulated mug or small flask

Hi wonderful mumsnetters. I am seeking recommendations for an insulated mug or small flask that will keep my coffee hot. In addition to this I want the flavour of the coffee to remain untainted by the flask. Any reasonably priced recommendations?

I use one of these. Have to leave the clip at the top open for a few minutes before I drink though because it retains heat so well. Eco friendly if that appeals to you.

I swear by the small Thermos flask, very compact and reliable. Have had mine about fifteen years, have bought new ones for DC and they seem just as good.

Never get one with a hole through which the liquid pours as they are much harder to clean.

Get a Yeti. They aren't very pretty but they work great!

I made a coffee, commuted an hour to work and it was still too hot to drink. I had to leave the lid off to cool it down.

I got contigo ones because recommended on here. I was unimpressed as after the first wash the coloured outside coating chipped off though so they look crap.

Love my simple bodum one though. Simple silver metal with a black lid

Yeti. I spent an embarrassing amount of time researching this (thanks ADHD hyperfixation) and Yeti are the best available in the UK.

I've had my Contigo west loop for 3 years now, it still looks as good as new. I wash the lid in the top rack of the dishwasher and the cup by hand with a gentle sponge.

It's also the best coffee flask I've owned. It doesn't leak and it keeps your drinks hot for hours.

Contigo - paint will chip externally after a year or so, but undoubtedly the best travel mug you can buy. Keeps drinks hot for what seems like forever. Totally leak proof. I've had mine for around 9 years and it's still going strong - I use it for at least 5 days every week.

As @rrhuth says the lid is a bit fussy to clean, but I love how leakproof it is, you can throw it in your bag and it never leaks, and it keeps the coffee hot.

Another contigo fan here! The drink never goes cold. Highly recommended

Sho cups are brilliant.

The Nespresso original one, stainless steel with a black lid - leakproof and bomb proof.

Lifeventure thermal mug. We use them for hillwalking where it can be very cold indeed. Will keep piping hot for 4/5 hours.

I was given the contigo westloop for Xmas . If anything it's too efficient as I make a coffee to take into work and it's still too hot to drink 3 hours later.
The non spill function definitely works though and I've had no taste tainont when I switch from coffee to tea

Yes this one! Contigo west loop autoseal. So good. Both me and DH have one.

Another vote for contigo west loop, keeps drinks hot for hours.
