Question about Deliveroo or Uber eats

Can you order via these apps for delivery to your home address if you are away from home? I think I tried it once and had problems but need to order dd some food tonight and will be away from home.

Yes, someone's has sent me food before when I was struggling with the kids, from miles away

Yeah you can. It usually just says "you look far away, is this the correct address?" And will ask you to confirm it

Of course the app can tell where you are when you order unless you've blocked location of your phone that you are using to order the food.

I’ve got 4 address on the app. I open it click one address where food is going. Not always where I currently am and order as normal. No idea if current location is on or off. Didn’t realise you could only order where you physical were

Yes - we used Uber Eats on holiday abroad for a Chinese takeaway delivered.to our hotel. You just add the delivery address to your account.
