Getting out of a rut.

Just feel in a rut. With work, school runs and driving to after school clubs I'm in a rut. Feels like all work and no play. It could be January blues. But AIBU to ask what are your tips for getting out of a rut?

You need to goal set and have some fun plans to look forward to. Where I am it's been sunny, make the most of sunny days and get out. Treat yourself.

I plan things for myself. I make time for myself and it's non negotiable.

Could you take the kids out to eat after an after school club one day next week?

Find a few good podcasts and some new music for the driving.
Overhaul the family’s meal plans - perhaps change supermarket to discover some new food.
