We've just moved house and my kids want to scoot to school. I dusted off our ancient micro scooters and they are a bit too small and also falling apart, so it's time to upgrade (kids are 6 and 8). I had a look at the Maxi Micro Scooter and it's £130. Having bought our micros second hand many years ago I'd forgotten the prices!
I can see similar-looking ones for £30 at Argos. Can anyone tell me either why it's worth paying £130 (or stalking ebay) for the Micro Maxi, or reassure me that the £30 ones will be fine for a daily school run for the next three years?
