Personally no which is sad

No but I'm not sad about it. He's a knob.

I was very close with DB as a teenager. I often hung about with him and friends if there was anything special on (like firework displays, car shows, concerts etc) and socialised more as i got older 16+

I was devastated when he moved to another country and we remained close but it was not the same.

During first covid lockdown he decided to return "home" and his family is now back living less then 50 miles away. I am delighted and I've missed having him near. I get on well with SiL too.
