I recently told HMRC of a change to my circumstances. My child is now in receipt of DLA and I’ve received a backdated payment from them.
My future tax credits payments have been increased in line with this change. All fine.
However , the online app shows the next 6 weeks payments and my payments from mid to end of of February remove all of my entitlement to child tax credit - this is a huge loss.
I’ve called HMRC who said that on their end the higher payments all remain the same until the new tax year, they can’t see the reduced payment at all, but it’s showing the reduced payments on my online account.
Should I be worried or believe that their system is correct and the online account is wrong?
I will be royally screwed if I don’t receive the correct payment
