Does anyone else get flash backs of places?

I’ve been thinking about this recently as it’s so random.
I could be feeding the baby & close my eyes - bam I see my old house or street. Trying to get to sleep & bam I see somewhere I used to hang out. One of my old schools. Family members houses. Basically ANYWHERE, totally random (I.e. I’ve not thought about it before).
Does anyone else get this? It’s totally subconscious and could be anywhere. It happens everyday.

Yes, quite a lot and have done for years. I often associate places with certain random things as well. I would always think of the Matalan in Merthyr Tydfil when I fed one of my cats, for example. No idea why there or why just that cat in particular. Or I'll be trying to sleep and suddenly see in my mind the route I used to take to one of my first jobs. Brains are weird.

Yes all the time. I thought I was the only one! Constant memories/flashbacks popping up randomly. Almost like I'm stuck in the past! I have depression and anxiety and tend to ruminate a lot so maybe it's part of that. So weird isn't it.

Yes, I do,especially when I am doing something completely ordinary like walking the dog at the park and my mind is wandering,sometimes it annoys me and other times I find it comforting.
