New rules at junctions- question

I’ve just been reviewing the new rules regarding pedestrians and cars turning into junctions and have a question. In all the illustrations I’ve seen, it shows a car turning left at a junction and giving way to a pedestrian. Do the same rules apply when turning right? I’m assuming yes, but want to be sure before the changes come in and impatient drivers behind start beeping at me!

I think that Before it was a "should give way" and now it's a "must give way" situation. Is only change, you would think that's pretty small change for seemingly not for many.

Ok, thanks. What about mini roundabouts when you are exiting. Are those the same?
