So a number of things are at play and feeling totally confused.
Me and my new husband are looking to buy a house in the next few months before we start TTC. We live in Birmingham and have done since we moved from London but neither of us like it/ feel settled after a number of years, partly due to never liking Birmingham and just moving here for jobs.
Both of our jobs are fairly good and stable and I wouldn't want to change mine before maternity leave.
We also want to be closer to my aging and not so good health parents who live up north but jobs / house opportunities not coming up there and can't see us there long term.
I'd love to live in London long term but financially not viable! Where do we move that means we can commute to our jobs but is a nice, affordable place to bring up kids potentially and easier access to the M1. My parents have said they would be open to moving closer to us. Lichfield??
