We used to have 17 pairs of scissors, now we have none.

When we moved in l kept buying those cute ones from Dunelm with the flowers and ladybirds on. And we had 2 pairs already.

Yet no one knows anything about it🤷🏼‍♀️

Phone chargers in our house. I even bought more, labelled them all with the exact room and they’ve all still mysteriously gone missing

They are probably with my Wooden spoons 🤷‍♀️

I know where all the missing socks go but can't help at all with the elusive scissors I'm afraid.

The most likely culprit is Dh tbh. He removed things and then denies all knowledge!

I unearthed 2 in DD’s bedroom and one on Ds’s.

I removed my expensive fabric scissors out of the garage and DH’s evil grasp. He’d tried to cut wire with them

Meanwhile there a about 15 pairs of scissors in some vortex in our house. Along with charging leads and the plugs. Despite the fact Dd and l labelled ours.,, they’ve still gone.

Face masks. I must have bought enough face masks to protect the population of a medium sized city. We even have a special Face Mask Box by the door. Where are my face masks? Is someone cutting them up with Dunelm floral scissors to stick on wooden spoons while wearing many socks???

When we cleared out DS2's room to redecorate, I found 12 pairs of nailclippers!

Socks, lids off tuoperware. They all vanished in our house.

Our specialty item in that respect is metal tape measures. I think we own at least a dozen of the blighters. They are supposed to be kept only in one drawer in the garage but I could never find one when I needed one! In exasperation, I bought another one from amazon, but didn't tell DH of its existence. I keep it in my bedside cabinet - and it's always there when I need it.
After that success I also bought myself a small set of screwdrivers and two pairs of scissors, which I keep in the same place, so I no longer need to dismantle the garage in order to find these items!

No we just use them for normal things.

Like cutting tape or pizzas. No one has a vendetta against them.

iPhone lightening leads. Currently buying weekly as they keep disappearing/dying!

80’smum, I too had my own special hoard. Dh found it.

What gets me is you buy something you really need, like a tape measure. Get in from buying it put it down and then never see it again, never actually having used it.

Face maks - had two boxes before Christmas didn't really go anwhere over Christmas and had to do emergency quick buy on first day backof t school. Suspect DH has tidied them away he admits moving them but claims not full boxes anway and where he insists he put them they are not but still nothing to do with him

Cups - not mugs - but proper cups with saucers- had 20 only come out on Sunday down to 5 - still have all saucers.

They must be with my charging cables, socks, Tupperware lids, drink bottles and my own scissors OP
