In Boots they have some on the shelves and some behind the counter.

Ohmycron · 11/01/2022 06:25

Amazon prime have them. I got one on same day a couple of weeks ago.

Lovemusic33 · 11/01/2022 06:27

I have got them from the bigger Tesco (extra) from the shelf before.

ninebiscuits · 11/01/2022 06:29

It was on the shelf in sainsburys last week, so presume tesco will be the same?

Fedupsotired · 11/01/2022 06:37

I thought it was only the oral one behind the counter? I'm sure I've bought the pessary in my online shop before

LadyPenelope68 · 11/01/2022 06:41

Our local Tesco pharmacy now opens at 6.30 am, check your store opening times.

Ohmycron · 11/01/2022 08:15

Yes. It’s 8 😀

Turns out the pharmacist was late so I’ve gone for the pessary, I think it’s the same as the pill so I’m not quite sure why the pill is behind the counter and the pessary isn’t

They have it on the shelf at my Tescos.

Do you mean Fluconazole pill? It’s a different drug to the pessary and interacts with more medications so they have to be careful who they give it to. (I suffer with recurrent thrush due to autoimmune issues and see a specialist for it).

The pill can cause miscarriage so they'd probably want to ask you whether you're pregnant whereas the pessary doesn't. Not sure if this is the reason but it might be.

Grim question alert. Look away if squeamish. I used it- all great. But today I had a white thing or two in my pants. Does the whole pill dissolve or does it just come out

Can be either / or. Sometimes it will dissolve completely and other times you’ll get a residue. I’ve even had the whole thing come out the next day nearly whole before ….! If that happens you’ll need to get the internal cream pre filled applicator instead. I get that now and prefer that. I do have sjorgens syndrome though (autoimmune condition where my eyes and vagina are super dry)!
