Changing name after marriage

I’m getting married later this year so I’ll be changing my name to my husbands. I’ve been reading some stories where companies are making it difficult to change details without a deed poll. Are there any pros or cons with changing my name by deed poll after the marriage? Will it be easier to change it everywhere?

You don't need deed poll if you get married you can use the marriage certificate ridiculous outdated tradition that it is

Where have you heard this? It’s news to me, all I needed was my marriage certificate when I changed my name a couple of years ago.

If you are simply charging your surname to his, a marriage certificate should suffice to change you name everywhere official.
