Gallstones

Evening!
So I have been diagnosed with a gallstone, it won't pass as it's too big so I just have to live with it. I got the gallstone when I was pregnant with my daughter (2020), I had my first attack but had no idea what it was-put it down to baby kicking my ribs. I then had numerous attacks during daughters first year and thought it was trapped wind or something but god I've never felt something so painful before, it was horrible! Finally I got diagnosed and I have changed my diet and lost weight and I haven't had an attack since May last year. So my question is (Thank you for reading this far, sorry if I have rambled on!) Has anyone been in my position before and had another baby with a gallstone and been ok? I want to try for another baby when my daughter is 2 and a half but I feel so anxious about getting more gallstones and having more pain! I spoke to my doctor today and she basically said I will be at a higher risk but they can't say for definite what will happen! So I would love to hear other peoples stories please! Thank you so much in advance!

Have they not offered to remove your gallbladder? It's the standard treatment for it.

No the doctor said that was the only way to get rid of them but she said the cons out way the positives of the operation so its a last resort? But she did say if I get so many attacks in a year I will be referred for surgery but I guess because I haven't had an attack in a while she is preferring to leave it.
