Just thinking about work makes me feel anxious snd sick

Just wondered if anyone can relate to this. I have a reasonably good professional job. In the last couple of years I feel like I always have an endless to do list that I am not on top of and now I actually feel physically sick and anxious when thinking about work. It’s not so bad when I am actually doing it but it’s impacting my life as it’s always at the back of my mind. It’s not my employer’s fault - I think it’s just that I have been juggling work and home life for a long time and now suffering from some sort of work fatigue. Finding it hard to be motivated at work but then feeling even worse about it.

I feel the same.My job is very fast paced,I never sleep a wink on Sundays or after annual leave.I'm desperate to leave but worried about losing the great benefits.Confidence is completely shot and feel like I would be fired within weeks of starting somewhere different.

I'm a single parent to two,XH contributes nothing - so genuinely too afraid to leave. I'm sick of the constant anxiety,and my procrastination is not helping.Feel you OP.

Yep I feel exactly the same way. Waiting to leave for a night shift now and always have that horrible sinking feeling.

Looking for a new job in a completely different profession now.
