This shit is about to get real...warm! Someone recommend me an electric blanket?!

My old, basic one died last year. Looking to upgrade but utterly bamboozled by choice.

Needs to be a double, dual controls, would like it if it had a separate foot setting.

Anyone got a really good electric blanket they'd recommend?

This thread is quite old now so some of the suggestions may be out of stock, but if you’ve landed here looking for electric blankets, we’ve recently updated our best electric blanket page with loads of great options that have been tried and tested by Mumsnet users. We hope you find it useful. Smile

Got dd one from Aldi for Christmas. They love it as it has separate heating controls for each side and her oh gets to turn his die off.
It may still be available on the app.

Yes, but I would have to get out of bed to find out. Grin

It has dual controls,(nine settings) feet and head, the only complaint would be the control panel is a bit bright and I have to shove it under the bed. I love the timer.

Slumberdown Wonderfully Warm.

£68 on Amazon.

Out of stock on Amazon.

Will have a quick look on line and report back, that is if my DH finally remembers to bring me a coffee, otherwise no point in being retired if you can't reap the benefits of a warm bed and hand delivered coffee.

Sod the electric blanket, fluid, can I just have your life instead?! Grin

Best I could do without a coffee, Grin just shouted downstairs and reminded him that girl could die of thirst....Grin

He thought I had gone back to sleep, so is on the case now. Grin

It looks great fluid but I think the dual controls are only on the king or superking from reading the description Sad.

I am thinking of getting a king-size bed in a couple of years, wonder if I could just put the king size on the double for now? Guessing it wouldn't fit very well though!

We have a Homefront king fleeced. Dual controls for both sides, body and feet settings, so easy, turn on, toasty.
