How long would it to take to drive from Hilton garden inn (Brindley Place) to NEC at 8am on a Thursday morning?

I’d say at least half an hour. Why not just stay in a hotel in the NEC complex?

Do you have to stay at that hotel and drive ?

Yes it would be easier to stay closer to the NEC but if you have to use that hotel get the train to the NEC
