Higher end 2 or 3 nights for 2 people. . Preferable mid to north England . I need a break and I’ve no idea where to begin. I’ve never taken a Spa break . Not really interested in classes or the gym . Just space to relax and enjoy good balanced food with some moderate alcohol intake . Budget between 1000 to 2000 .
Could I have your recommendations please. I have no idea where to look. Google showing to many suggestions that look a bit middle of the road. It’s a one off treat, not something I have done before so I would like to find the best experience within the budget. I have looked at Ragdale Hall website but they appear to be booked up till April at least .

Hoar Cross Hall is apparently lovely

Lion Quays in Oswestry is lovely , or is that too far ?

Footgoose · 09/01/2022 21:29

All suggestions are just what I’m looking for . Thank you. Stupid question , but when you book a room are the Spa facilities automatically included . Unlimited use ?

Ragdale Hall - absolute luxury and wonderful service

Babymamaroon · 09/01/2022 21:31

Ragdale Hall is wonderful! They bring you breakfast in bed Smile

Rockcliffe Hall

Another recommendation for Hoar Cross Hall - absolutely lovely. Losehill House in the Peaks is also really nice and a beautiful setting - might not have enough spa facilities for what you're looking for though.

@mynameiscalypso

Rockcliffe Hall
I second this. Booked a deal in the summer, 7 course tasting menu, wine flight, bed, breakfast and access to the most amazing spa for £400 per couple. Absolutely stunning 5* hotel and brilliant staff. Looking for an excuse to go back myself!
