Ab Fab/missing my mom

I have been home with Covid the last few days and binge watched Absolutely Fabulous. I had forgotten how funny it was. My mother died last year and it was one of her favorite shows. Though she was nothing like Eddy, I think was a bit like Saffy and it was one of the few things we both enjoyed together. I miss her so much.

Are there any shows that immediately take you back to a time or person? This has been such a pleasant way to spend time.

Coronation Street reminds me of my gran. When we used to stay over, 7:30pm the cheese and crackers would come out, kettle boiled for the break, gran would put her glasses on and the big light would go off. If we talked or asked any questions it would be met with a sharp ‘ssshh!!’

I hear that sshh even now when it’s in and I talk over it 😂 I can’t believe I even entertain the pile of shite it is now.

I'm re watching Dallas! Was about 8 when I watched it with my Granny! I dint think it was appropriate 🤣

I don’t know Coronariom street, but I can imagine the scene, Dallas! Risqué for an 8 year old. How fun.
