Restaurant Reccomendations - Soho

I'm out in Soho next week. The thing I've got booked starts at 20:15 and I'm looking for somewhere to grab some food before it starts. Any recommendations?
I'm not looking for anything too fancy. I looked online but the choice is overwhelming so I wondered if anyone had a personal recommendation. Doesn't need to be a chain. My mate is gluten free, so if she can have more than one choice from the menu, that would be nice.

What does ‘not too fancy’ mean? Like Wagamamas?!

My usual Soho recc is Andrew Edmunds but it may class as ‘fancy’ in your eyes.

I guess I mean casual dining, nothing too formal.
But not Wagamama's. We have one of those here so it won't feel like a treat.

And no preference in terms of cuisine.

This place is great, small, independent, great for GF and the food is spectacular (especially the spinach!) cocktails are lovely too

Brasserie Zedel. Not too pricy and wonderful food.
