Grammar schools

Hello my son is in year 5 and am wondering if he can actually get into any grammar schools without moving. We live in the HA1 area. I have been looking at the information available and it is so confusing. Any information will help.

You need to look at the admission policies of the grammar schools you’re interested in to see if they have a catchment area or not. Some have limited spaces for people outside the catchment area. This may be for certain specialisations. Ie. If the school has a leading sports stream, then it may offer sports places.
