Party venue expectations

Taking the kids to soft play/trampoline parties I have noticed there is never anywhere for the parents of the kids to sit.
Is this everyone else's experience?
Does it bother you or are you happy to stand around?

All of the soft plays near us have plenty of seating for adults

They have seating for general customers here but not enough for the additional adults with parties.

I think it depends on what time the party is and how busy the softplay is in general.

I don't recall them reserving seats on the main floor for party goers, the one near us has a party room set up for the kids to eat in and do the birthday cake but the rest of the time they don't need seats because they're off playing. Parents who are staying can then sit wherever there are free tables. I think that's reasonable as for lots of the parties parents don't stay, only the birthday kids parents and maybe a couple of others.

So during a busy Saturday you wouldn't expect parents to be able to sit down?

We went to one where there was a table allocated for the whole party. Parents sat at it but when the kids were eating (15 mins) the parents had to stand. There was a lot of complaints about it but I didn't see the problem so wondered if I am in the minority.

I'd be fine with it, that's what softplay is like. You take the kids, try to find a seat, spend hardly any time sitting at the seat because you're buying snacks or trying to find your kid or trying to find their shoes or being dragged into the softplay structure itself because your kid is stuck or wants to show you the thing they think is the best thing....
